Building Facts:
Here's our sugarhouse, built sometime in the 1880's. Floyd and George started making syrup in 1929, but used another sugarhouse on the farm. We moved the operation into this building in 1942. Additions in the 1970s and 1980s were designed to maintain its traditional feel.

Taps and Evaporator:
We're currently tapping around 2200 taps, all collected on tubing with vacuum. We boil on a wood-fired King 5' x 16' Evaporator with a forced draft unit and Steam Away.
